...Rocks. My first RPG I've ever finished, and I loved it SO much. Not my favorite game ever, that title would probably fall to Metroid or Beyond Good and Evil, but my favorite game to play.

I don't really want to waste time by apologizing for not blogging, one reason because no one cares, and the other being that it's pointless and dull.

I've been reading lots of manga recently. I'm here to review them.


.Hack// : legend of the twilight, volumes 1 & 2


Genre: Scifi

Stars: 4

Excellent. I enjoy this series alot. It's a scifi premise, about two twins, Rena and Shougo. They're playing a Fantasy MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) called simply The World. They're trying to discover the mystery behind the game, while coping with everyday life.
The artwork is fun to read, though sometimes a little boring- Once you've seen one pair of giant wolf boobs, you've seen them all. heehee. You'd have to be there.


Kare: First Love, volume 1


Genre: Romance
Rating: T
Stars: 4 1/2

Girl with low self esteem, thick glasses, and frumpy clothes. She thinks she's worthless, until one day in her life, a guy finally pays her some attention. He helps her see herself as a pretty person. As her self-esteem lifts, she starts being more outgoing- buys contacts, pulls back her hair, etc. He falls in love with her, and she's starting to fall for him, but another girl is determined to have him for herself, even if she sabotages our heroine's dreams.
The artwork is amazing an beautiful, but the thing that really shines about this manga are the characters. Real, believable people, in real believable situations. The main girl is is NOT a Mary sue- not someone you're ONLY feeling sorry for. her personality isn't a little angel, neither is it a 'bad girl'. She's just a real person. I liked it. :) The cover dfoesn't really do it justice, so here's a little bit of the manga itself:

Genre: Romance/Cheesy Sci-fi
Rating: T (Should be AT LEAST T+)

The guy's a girly, feminine, emotional guy. The girl's violent, rude, and masculine, although extremely cute. In a mad scientist's experimental accident, they swap bodies. Now they have to adjust to life as the opposite sex.
Artwork was very good. I certainly can't complain in that area. Don't get me wrong- it had a lot of super-cute moments, and I suppose most teens would like it...but in my opinion, it should not be a 'T'. T+ at the very least. TONs of innuendo, language, and nudity. We're talking, pictures of boobs, and girls covered only by a discreetly placed arm. There are lots of suggestions of sex happening off-page, just random hook-ups, and groping. I think it's a cute premise, and it has a lot of good moments, but definitely not for me.

That's all I feel like doing tonight. I watched the first season of Clannad. SOOO depressing- SOOOO worth it. You just have to watch it. I'm on the second and final season. Recently I want to half price book store, and they were having a huuug blowout manga sale, so I bought tons, thus all of the manga reviews.
